Probably the reason I subscribed to MasterClass, but I delayed watching this course. Who doesn't know Anna Wintour I wander? Chief Editor at Vogue Magazine, she is pretty well known for her fashion taste and signature looks. I tried to take some ideas from this course, but it's kind of high level.
1. Own your decisions, both good or bad. You have/ had your reasons, don't apologise or overexplain.
2. Be open to the world culture and events. Read daily the news, go to movies, theather plays. Immerse yourself in what this world has to offer.
3. Have a great team of people by your side. Show your appreciation and also, give them projects they are passionate about. ( I guess my family is my team, go go go !)
4. Prepare for your meetings/ interviews etc. Don't try to create false impressions, show your true interests. Don't say you like tennis (just because it's well seen) when you have never been to a tennis match. (Well I like tennis, but I don't go around telling this, I admit I never been to a tennis match, but I did buy and read some biografies of famous tennis players. I guess there are degrees of liking something.)
course in progress, article to be continued
